3 Ideas For Promotional Stickers

People, including adults, love stickers. They will be willing to put stickers that they deem interesting or cool on the back of their smartphones and laptops, on their notebooks, and even on their bicycles and cars. Any business would be crazy to pass up the chance to be able to take advantage of this free advertising.

In order to make the most of this opportunity, you need to print stickers that will appeal to people in their twenties and thirties enough to put them on their personal possessions:

1. Draw on Pop Culture

Try to draw on pop culture in your brand. Examples of this are taking advantage of the current popularity of superhero movies to create a sticker with your logo that resembles something that a well-known superhero uses, such as a circular shield or a hammer. Another example would be to copy a similar style and a popular indie band uses for their album covers.

You can do both of these ideas without infringing on copyright law as long as you don't make them too similar. You want to evoke the thought of whatever it is you are trying to emulate, not slavishly copy it.

2. Make Them Three Dimensional

Another cool idea is to make your stickers three dimensional. The most common example of this is to make them puffy, or to make certain elements of your design slightly elevated. A person who has this sticker should be able to push a small indentation into the raised part of the sticker and have it bounce back within a minute or two.

These stickers will draw interest and cause people to want to put them somewhere public to display them, or at least so that they can play with them while they are bored in class or at work. The puffy sticker design works best if your design includes clouds.

3. Use Glitter

Finally, don't be afraid to use glitter liberally. People like shiny stickers because they reflect light and draw attention to whatever the sticker is applied to. They also tend to make the sticker more durable because they add an extra layer of protection and stiffness. This will make any money that you spend on the stickers go further.
