Personalize Membership Features At Your Fitness Center
If you own a fitness center and would like to provide your clients with ease of access to your establishment and a variety of services that will help them achieve their fitness goals, take matters into your hands to personalize membership features.
Provide Membership Cards And Lanyards
Order pre-printed membership cards from a printing company and give the cards to people enrolled at your fitness center. Prior to ordering the cards, request that each person has their picture taken so photos of the clients can be added to their cards.
Include the names of members on the cards so that staff members can make sure that pictures and names match when each person enters the fitness center. Secure the cards to lanyards so that your clients can slip the lanyards around their necks and won't need to worry about losing their cards.
Extend Hours
If your business is currently only open during daylight hours, you are limiting yourself to the amount of business you do. Since many people may work during the day, extending the center's hours will provide additional people with the opportunity to use the center during times that are convenient.
Hire a few extra sets of hands so that you are not stuck monitoring the center for more than one shift at a time. If possible, open the center on weekends so that even more people are inclined to stop by and sign up to be members of your facility.
Provide Fitness Plans And Training Sessions
Provide each client with a customized fitness plan, based upon the current weight of each person and their desired results. For instance, if someone is looking to add muscle tone and lose a few pounds, add strength training exercises and high impact aerobics to their plan.
If someone wishes to lose a great deal of weight, add several types of exercises to the plan and provide the individual with a diet that they can follow at home. Hire staff members to assist with providing clients with training. Training sessions can be held inside one part of the fitness center, and anyone who is using exercise equipment and wishes to work out on their own won't be disturbed by the sessions.
Training sessions can be designed to target specific muscle groups, so clients can choose sessions that interest them. Make sure that there are sessions geared toward beginners as well as seasoned fitness buffs.
